This Privacy Policy describes how Zair AI ("we," "us," "our") collects, uses, and protects information when you use the Fitter mobile application ("Fitter," "the App," "the Service"). Fitter is operated by Zair Hicham Mehdi as a sole proprietor based in Algeria.

By using Fitter, you agree to the collection and use of information in accordance with this policy. If you do not agree, please do not use the App.

1. Who This Policy Applies To

Fitter is intended for users aged 18 and older. We do not knowingly collect information from anyone under 18. If you are under 18, please do not use Fitter. If we discover we have collected data from a user under 18, we will delete it promptly.

2. Information We Collect

2.1 Information You Provide

• Account information: email address, username, date of birth, gender (required to verify age and personalize results)
• Physical attributes: height, weight, body measurements, fitness goals, training experience, gym access (home/gym), available training days
• Physique photos: front, side, and back photos you choose to upload for AI scanning
• Subscription and payment information: processed entirely by Apple App Store or Google Play Store. We do not receive or store your credit card details.

2.2 Information Collected Automatically

• Device information: device model, operating system version, and language preferences needed for the app to function correctly
• Usage data: which features you use, how often, session duration, and interaction patterns — collected through Firebase Analytics
• Crash and error data: technical diagnostics captured when the app encounters errors, collected through Sentry to help us fix bugs quickly

2.3 What We DO NOT Collect

• We do not collect your real name (unless you choose to provide it)
• We do not collect your precise location
• We do not access your phone contacts, microphone, or camera without your explicit permission for a specific feature
• We do not collect data from users under 18

3. How We Use Your Information

• To provide the core service: processing your photos through AI to generate physique ratings, tier classifications, muscle breakdowns, and personalized recommendations
• To personalize your experience: creating workout plans, calorie recommendations, and progress tracking based on your profile
• To improve the App: analyzing aggregated usage patterns to identify bugs, improve features, and enhance user experience
• To communicate with you: sending service-related emails, important updates, and responding to support inquiries
• To prevent fraud and abuse: detecting and preventing unauthorized use of the Service

4. How We Handle Your Photos

We understand that photos of your body are sensitive. We handle them carefully:

• Processing: When you perform a scan, your photos are sent over an encrypted connection (HTTPS) to Google's Gemini AI service for analysis. Google's handling of this data is governed by their own privacy policies.
• Storage: Only your front-view photo from each scan is stored in our secure cloud storage (Supabase) so that you can view your scan history and compare progress over time. Side and back photos are processed in memory only and are not stored.
• Retention: Stored photos are retained for as long as your account is active. You can delete individual scans (including their photos) or your entire account at any time through App settings, which will permanently remove your photos from our storage.
• Scan results: The numerical scores, tier ratings, and analytical text generated from your photos are stored for the duration of your account so you can track your progress over time.
• We do NOT use your photos to train our AI models. Your photos are used only to generate your personal scan results.
• We do NOT share your photos with other users, advertisers, or unrelated third parties. The only third party that receives your photos is Google Gemini, solely for the purpose of generating your scan analysis.

5. Third-Party Services We Use

Fitter relies on several third-party services. Each has its own privacy policy governing their handling of your data:

• Google Gemini API: processes your photos and profile information to generate physique analysis, workout plans, and personalized recommendations
• Supabase: cloud database and storage service that securely stores your account information, scan history, and photos
• Firebase Analytics (Google): collects anonymous usage analytics to help us understand how users interact with the App and improve it over time
• Sentry: collects crash reports and error diagnostics so we can fix bugs and improve stability
• Apple App Store / Google Play Store: handle all subscription payments and billing — we do not receive or store your payment details

6. Your Rights and Choices

You have the following rights regarding your personal data:

• Access: You can view your stored data through the App settings
• Correction: You can update your profile information at any time
• Deletion: You can delete your account and all associated data through App settings, or by emailing us
• Portability: You can request a copy of your data by emailing us
• Withdrawal of consent: You can stop using the App at any time and request data deletion
• Opt-out of analytics: You can disable analytics tracking in App settings

7. Data Security

We take reasonable steps to protect your data:

• Photos are encrypted during transmission and storage
• Passwords are hashed and never stored in plain text
• Access to user data is restricted to essential systems only
• We use reputable cloud infrastructure (Supabase, Google) with industry-standard security

However, no system is 100% secure. If we become aware of a data breach affecting your information, we will notify you promptly.

8. Data Retention

• Photos: Your stored scan photos are retained while your account is active. You can delete individual scans or your entire account at any time to remove them.
• Scan results (scores, tiers, analysis): retained for the duration of your account so you can track progress
• Account data: retained while your account is active, and permanently deleted when you delete your account
• Payment records: handled by Apple App Store / Google Play Store according to their retention policies

9. International Data Transfers

Fitter is operated from Algeria. By using the App, you understand that your data may be processed in countries where our service providers (Google, Supabase, Apple) operate, which may include the United States, European Union, and other countries. These transfers are protected by standard contractual clauses and the privacy policies of the respective providers.

10. Children's Privacy

Fitter is not intended for users under 18. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 18. If a parent or guardian becomes aware that their child has provided us with personal information, please contact us and we will delete it.

11. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will notify you of significant changes through the App or by email. The "Last updated" date at the top of this page indicates when the policy was last revised. Continued use of the App after changes means you accept the revised policy.

Results may vary and should not be treated as scientifically or medically accurate. Consult qualified professionals before making significant changes to your diet, training, or health routine.
